Idea to Conception Grant

SADDD GOD 2022

For the 2022 fiscal year, we are awarding Evan Givins, AKA "Saddd God,” our Idea to Conception Grant. Evan Givens, also known as “SadGod,” is a 25-year-old fine arts photographer and poet from Detroit, MI, based in Greenville, SC. Introduced to photography at the Governor’s School of the Arts and Humanities, he became obsessed with the art of photography and what a camera can do.

Yasmine Lee 2023

For the 2023 fiscal year, we are awarding Yasmine Lee, owner of "snowycactus.ent” for our Idea to Conception Grant. Yasmine is known for her mixed media background and budding mind in filmmaking. The grant helped her with her summer program at Yale University, and she is currently working on her next hit film, Surrender. She is a native of South Carolina and a graduate of Wofford College.
