Teaching Fellowship Program
In SC we have colleges like Converse College, Columbia College, Winthrop University and Etc that have dance programs. In this initiative our goal is to place graduating minority college students with dance programs across the state of SC. We often lose our South Carolina talent to other states. Our goal is to retain our talent here in the state of SC and give women and men of color a chance at a dance career.
Quoliyah Byard
My name is Quoliyah Byard, and I recently graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, SC, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance Studies and minored in Business Management. My background consists of Somatic Technique, Contemporary, and a few Hip Hop dance genres. I am now focusing on exploring my artistry in different avenues such as teaching dance, growing as a performer, and enhancing my choreographic abilities.
